As soon as I heard this record I knew I loved it I just did not know what I was supposed to say on it. The night this record was played I was being interviewed by podcast extraordinaire Heavyweightchampion. At the time I had no idea that he was a rapper. He he stuck around after the interview and while listening to the record he was like “I can do something with that”. I’m not necessarily skeptical about artists I’m unfamiliar with, however I am cautiously optimistic. He sent a voice reference over the next day, painted to portrait of a “Dirty Ratchet” and the rest is audio history.
