NuTang came about as a result of speaking with a whole legend from Oklahoma City. Coming from a place in which the country considers “the middle of nowhere” and speaking with a dude who toured the US, Europe, and made an appearance on the illustrious Sway in the Morning, left me inspired. I have the pleasure of working with younger artists and I truly believe that showing them appreciation is a necessity. I wanted to spread love to the youth in the same way my big homie spread love to me that night. NuTang represents an idea of bridging the gap between those who have come and those who are to come. Give praise to the youth because they keep our culture relevant and vibrant.
