Writing and rapping since the age of 12, Thomas Who? is a hip-hop artist with soulful, hearty lyrics showcasing his lyrical abilities creating atmospheres that one can only describe as wavy…His lyrics are a combination of social, political, and spiritual narrative. His mission is to not only appeal to listeners acoustically, but also to appeal to them soul to soul, being to being, and essence to essence.
Some of his most memorable performances were at The Opolis in Oklahoma sharing a stage with rising star Jabee, The Wild 104.9 Birthday Bash in Summer 2018, and he has also had the privilege of opening up for Spice 1, Scarface, and Twista. In October 2019, he had the pleasure of opening for Griselda’s Benny The Butcher. Thomas Who? often collaborates with other Oklahoma and DFW based artists such as the oracle Mokah Soulfly, the artist collective PAEME, GMG, and JRoc Obama among many others.
“Who Knew?” dropped October 1st, 2018 with rave reviews. A momentous follow-up, “Splash” dropped January 2020 with stand out hits such as ABNL ( All Blessings No Luck). Thomas Who’s next project has already been circulating for those who were lucky enough to get the early download -“First Draft” by the AnitSocialites (Thomas Who? & Nolo Ellis ). Portmortem has put Thomas Who? On the map showcasing his passion for social justice. Thomas Who? Is current working closely with Oklahoma’s Dr. View on academic ventures that are hiphop centric and new music as well. The goal is to bring balance to a game saturated in negativity by shining light through ingenuity and passion for life.
Which leads us to Thomas Who’s greatest undertaking – dropping 52 singles in 52 weeks! He has been in the studio feverishly banging out new music like only he can – hit after hit, ready to drop to the masses to build the momentum that will solidify his place in the hip-hop game. In recent times, Thomas Who? along with 60+ other artists, producers, engineers, and creatives with Stevie Johnson (Dr. View) at the helm, created a project in 2020 to commemorate the 100th year of the Black Wall Street Massacre in Greenwood. They were all signed to Motown Records for the release of “Fire in Little Africa”.
